On Thursday 1 October 2026 in the Domstad in Utrecht, NVTAG will host its Fall Symposium, focusing on one of the most significant developments in European HTA in recent years: the implementation of Joint Clinical Assessments (JCA).
With the introduction of the EU HTA Regulation, Europe has embarked on an unprecedented journey toward conducting clinical assessments once, at a European level, rather than repeatedly across individual member states. The publication of the first JCA report on 9 June 2026 marked a historic milestone—but also raises many important questions.
